Tel  Aviv

Tel Aviv is often mentioned or described as the “city that never sleeps”.
This is quite true.Years ago, when I was a bit younger,
I could relate to this phrase quite easily. Dancing in the modern clubs and hanging out in chic bars was part of my scene. Today
I would rather bite into a locally grown sweet, red watermelon while lounging on the golden sandy beach.  Spending a night out and enjoying a quality cup of coffee in one of the many café’s that dot the fashionable streets in the northern part of town is how I prefer to spend my time in Tel Aviv.

Or if you would rather, one can enjoy a cup of coffee at a local homey café in the narrow alleys on the southern side of this bustling city.

Tel Aviv is the place to go and take pleasure in a theater show and get glimpses of the latest fashion worn by the young and beautiful.  But more than anything else, what amazes me about Tel Aviv is the Hebrew spoken amongst the locals.  The language continues to grow and change, combining the old and new slang, illustrating the mix of traditional and modern cultures found in this outstanding metropolitan city.
